Antique handmade English oak chest of drawers, probably dates from the late 1700s or early 1800s. ~ Sold.

Antique handmade Sheraton Period stand with bird’s eye maple. Probably dates from the early 1800s. ~ Will sell for about $235.

Early handmade chair with oak split seat. Has pegged construction & the ladderback rungs, look 18th C to us. ~ Will sell for about $150.

Antique tilt top candle stand, looks like cherry. Could use a little finish work & the top has a tight crack that could use glue & a clamp. Could use a latch. We might work on it this weekend if it doesn’t sell first. We think it dates from the early 1800s ~ Sold.

4 matching Sheraton Period arrowback chairs, probably date from the 1820s or so. The paint decoration probably came later, looks more Victorian with birds. ~ Sold.

Handmade Sheraton transitional 2 drawer stand. Probably dates from the 1820s to the 1840s. ~ Will sell for about $180.

Heavy oak industrial chairs with wire supports. Probably date from the 1900 give or take 20 years. Show lots of evidence of use, wear & age. ~ Will sell for about $38 each.

Antique handmade cupboard or plantation desk top. Probably originally had 12 panes, but now just has 2 large panes. We think that it dates form the first half of the 1800s & most likely the first quarter. ~ Sold.

Small handmade farm table or desk with 2 hand dovetailed drawers. Is made of solid cherry & southern yellow pine. Has a 2 board top. Shows normal shrinkage on top, overall good condition. Probably dates from the early 1800s. ~ Will sell for about $325.

Small country Hepplewhite pine blanket chest. This chest has old nails, antique nails & early nails that are possibly 18th C it is a little rough with parts of its bracketed base being replaced along the way & it is missing its lock. Would look better with some finish work, stain or oil. We think it began life during the late 1700s or early 1800s. ~ Sold.

Matched pair of antique beds, probably from the mid 1800s that were later modified so that you can use full size bedding that would rest on top of the rails. They are a little rough but you could paint them with milk paint or wax them to level out the finish. It’s hard to find pairs of full size beds that are truly handmade antiques. ~ Will sell for about $360 for the pair.

This small stand was probably made during the early 1900s. The bottom was stenciled with a furniture maker’s name & Richmond, VA. We can’t quite make out the name. ~ Will sell for about $75.

Yellow pine Hepplewhite style stand, restored. ~ Will sell for about $120.

Handmade walnut Hepplewhite stand> probably dates from the late 1700s or early 1800s. Is missing one drawer rung but still works. Was refinished at some point & is very clean & ready to use without shrinkage cracks or other issues. ~ Will sell for about $235.

2 antique frames with early hand colored photographs from the second half of the 1800s. You don’t have to use the photos ~ The frames are great. ~ Will sell for about 100 for the pair.

Heavy & very sturdy bench made from antique bed parts. ~ Will sell for about $180.

This is 2 small loads from living estates in Buckingham County Virginia collected over the last 50 years.

Antique Grandfather clock case with its original grain painting, probably from the 1820s – 1830s, in great original condition. Needs works. ~ Sold.

Antique 18th C walnut & yellow pine southern corner cupboard in great condition ready to be used in a home. ~ Will sell for about $2200.

Handmade Windsor bench probably, early 1800s in good condition. ~ Sold.

Antique late 1800s oak food case that originally used dry ice & was probably used by a confectioner. Was more recently used by a coffee shop in Lovingston Virginia that specializes in music events. Would be great in a retail store, bakery, or could be converted to into an island for a kitchen. Imagine it with a larger slab or soapstone or marble & stools around it. ~ Will sell for about $750.

Antique handmade walnut dovetailed trundle bed ~ Will sell for about $180.

Antique Queen Anne 18th C carved table base, probably had more to it originally ~ At this point it makes a great coffee table. ~ Will sell for about $300.

3 part mahogany banquet table probably from the first half of the 1800s. You could easily add 2 large leaves because the mechanism for holding them is there. Is at a good eating height. ~ Will sell for about $1000.

Antique Chippendale chair from John Boy Walton’s house in Schuyler Virginia ~ Sold.

Queen Anne dressing table, probably mid 1700s. May have started life as the base of a highboy, but the top surface appears to be early. Needs a little TLC. ~ Good Overall Condition ~ Will sell for about $945

Handmade Hepplewhite stand from Dillwyn Smith’s home namesake of the town in Buckingham County Virginia, probably late 18th C or early 19th C. ~ Will sell for about $300

Early pine table with sliding removable top. Has layers of old/antique paint in nice bright colors. Would make a nice desk or breakfast table. ~ Will sell for about $750.

Antique handmade Queen Anne candlestand, probably from the 18th century. Has some old repairs & a nice spider with rosehead nails & more recent nails. Is ready to go with a nice patina in good condition. ~ Sold.


Antique handmade 18th century Chippendale blanket chest with a nice grain painted surface that we think is antique. The hinges were hand wrought by a skilled blacksmith & were attached with rosehead nails. ~ Sold

Antique late 1800s pine mantel that was refinished at some point. Found in Central Virginia. ~ Will sell for about $115.

Antique handmade English Queen Anne lowboy, probably dates from the mid 18th century. Appears to have its original pulls. Is missing part of its left front foot & shows minor losses to its inlay. If it is here long enough, we will have it restored. It’s current price reflects its condition. ~ Sold.

Old or antique handmade rug. Measures about 6½ feet by about 10 feet. Shows some overall wear, but is in good condition. ~ Will sell for about $180.

Antique Hepplewhite farm table found in Central Virginia. Has a walnut base & a 3 board poplar top, more typical of Western Virginia. ~ Will sell for about $600.

Antique fully mortised handmade bench with early cut nails & a dry painted surface. Found with the farm table. ~ Will sell for about $150.


Antique child’s chair, stand or wall box. Handmade out of pine with cut nails. Found in Central Virginia. ~ Sold.


Old or antique bench made Chippendale style chest of drawers. Probably one of a kind. Probably dates from the early 1900s. The wood looks like walnut. The proportions are great. Found in central Virginia along with the bench & farm table. ~ Will sell for about $200.

Early American white pine mule chest or blanket chest, probably from the 1700s. Entirely handmade with rosehead nails, dovetailed drawers & a 2 board back. The knobs are original. The cotter pin hinges were replaced along the way, but you can still see that they were there. ~ Sold.

Sheraton cradle used against a bed for the infants. Someone has put sturdy wood in the bottom of it & an upholstered seat cushion so it can also be used as a love seat, window seat or small day bed for children. Probably dates from the early 1800s. ~ Will sell for about $200.

Antique handmade rosewood game table, probably from the early 1800s. ~ Will sell for about $545.

Antique classical open washstand from the 1830s – 1840s ~ Sold.

Set of 4 antique hand carved ribbon back chairs with claw & ball feet. The seats have been redone but you can see that the frames to them are original & the original horsehair is present. If you don’t like the current fabric it is easy to put new fabric on the seat cushions. ~ Sold.

We just picked up close to 175 old apple & peach crates from a local barn in Nelson County. These crates represent most of the local orchards & many orchards that are no longer in business. The smallest ones will sell for about $5 each. The vast majority will sell for about $10 each & the best/rarest will sell for $15 – $20 each. The ones you see pictured (5 crates high) are almost all $15 each & the shot of the huge pile are $10 each.

Antique hand dovetailed pine large blanket chest with great old blue paint that’s probably original to the piece. Hinges were probably replaced. Runners are original, has blacksmith made nails. ~ Will sell for about $375

Antique handmade Queen Anne 3 tier dumbwaiter. Each level turns freely. Is in very good condition with antique repairs. ~ Sold.

Antique handmade cherry Sheraton cradle. Originally was on rockers, but now just stands. Has a roped bottom. Probably dates from the early 1800s. ~ Will sell for about $150.

Antique hand carved French love seat. The wood appears to be walnut. The fabric is in good shape & the love seat is clean & free of odors. ~ Will sell for about $700.

Antique handmade Sheraton Period rope bed that is still completely rope-able & has its original rails. Doesn’t have bolts but they are easy to find & if your rope it tight enough, the bolts don’t matter anyway. Has a great patina with wear & scratches. Probably dates from the early 1800s. ~ Will sell for about $200.

We have a new shipment of deer antlers in all shapes & sizes. ~ We sell them for between $9 & $30 per pair/rack.

Faux marble column plant stand. Would also be good for a statue or bust. ~ Will sell for about $180.

1950s kitchen set in great condition. Includes table with its leaf & 4 matching chairs. ~ Will sell for about $375 for the set.

French style bachelor’s chest with an Italian marble top in very good condition, ready to use. ~ Will sell for about $250.

These 2 iron beds are from a local bed & breakfast. The rails have been professionally lengthened & they did a great job. The box springs & mattresses are hotel grade Seeley & instead of the standard 75 inches long they are 80 inches long to match the beds. We are selling the beds & if the customer wants the bedding it goes along for free. ~ The fancier one will sell for $235 & the other one will sell for $200.

Vintage shabby chic vanity project, dates from the first half of the 1900s. Needs TLC & some pulls. Came from the same bed & breakfast as the beds. ~ Sold.

Early 1900s Edwardian chest of drawers & mirror. They looks like they are Italian. The dresser will sell for $200 & the mirror will sell for $50.
