2 Unusual Large Industrial Spool Tables/Stands Virginia

We have had lots of spool furniture over the years but never furniture with these oversized spools. The large spools measure 6 inches long by about 3½ inches in diameter. Probably came from a factory setting. The other wood is pine. Tables are put together with rods & screws. Best guess on age is late 1800s or early 1900s. While they’re not the same, they were together when we found them, so we decided to keep them together. The shorter table has an alligator finish while the taller table has a smoother finish ~ Maybe somebody refinished the taller pieces. The taller piece is missing a few small decorative knobs ~ Doesn’t bother us. Both are stable but you wouldn’t want to sit on either one. To give you an idea of size, the taller one is 28½ inches tall ~ The shorter one is 21 inches tall by 24 inches square. Shows normal evidence of use, wear & age ~ Good Condition.
